Powers on. CD drawer won't open. When the OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed, the display switches from OPEN to CLOS but nothing happens. There's no sound from the drawer mechanism as if it's even trying to open.
I did put in a tape to check the play, ff, rev, etc. When the tape was played, the input levels on the display went up and down and it sounded normal.
No remote control.
